Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Vulcero ("we", "our", "us") handles personal information in connection with the vulcero.com website. Each mobile application or game published by Vulcero has its own privacy policy, linked from its store listing and from this site. This policy does not cover those apps. Your use of the Site is also subject to our Terms of Service.
1. Who we are
Vulcero is an independent studio. Vulcero is the controller of personal data processed via this Site. The registered legal name and address of the controller are available on written request to hello@vulcero.com, which is also our point of contact for any privacy-related question or request.
2. Information we collect
The vulcero.com website is a static site. We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or cookies. We do not ask you to create an account or submit forms.
In the past twelve months, the only categories of personal information we have received through this site are identifiers (such as email address and name) and the contents of any message you choose to send us by email.
Our hosting provider automatically processes standard server log data such as IP address, user-agent, request time, and requested URL. This data is used solely to operate the Site, prevent abuse, and maintain security. It is retained by the hosting provider according to their standard retention periods and is not used by us for analytics or marketing.
3. How we use information and our legal basis
We use the information you send us by email only to respond to you and to keep a record of our correspondence. Our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating Vulcero and responding to inquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f); KVKK Article 5(2)(f)).
Providing personal information through this Site is entirely voluntary. You are not required to send us any personal data, and choosing not to do so will not affect any legal right you have.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not engage in automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. How long we keep it
We retain email correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable record of our communication, generally no longer than three years from the last interaction, after which the data is deleted or anonymised. Server logs held by our hosting provider are retained according to that provider's standard retention period (typically up to thirty days). You can request earlier deletion at any time as set out in section 7.
5. Sharing and third parties
We do not share personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the Site and our communications, and as required by law. The third parties involved in operating this Site are:
- Cloudflare — static hosting and DNS for the Site;
-
our email service provider, which processes and
stores email correspondence sent to or from
@vulcero.comaddresses on our behalf.
No other third-party services are embedded on this website. The full list of current sub-processors is available on request.
6. International transfers
Our hosting and email providers may process data in the United States, the European Union, or other regions outside Türkiye. Where transfers out of the EEA or the UK are involved, we rely on the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards under the GDPR. Where transfers are subject to KVKK Article 9, we rely on the legal grounds available under that article, including providers' undertakings or decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board, where applicable.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction or deletion of your personal information;
- request a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- not be subject to automated decision-making (we do not engage in this);
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Residents of Türkiye (KVKK). Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, you additionally have the right to learn whether your personal data are processed, to request information about the processing, to learn the purpose of processing and whether your data are used in accordance with that purpose, to know the third parties to whom your data are transferred, and to request rectification, erasure, or destruction. You may submit these requests in writing to us at the address above and, where you are not satisfied with the outcome, lodge a complaint with the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu (Personal Data Protection Authority of Türkiye).
Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to deletion, the right to correction, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@vulcero.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and may verify your identity before acting on the request.
8. Children's privacy
This website is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area, where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. Under Turkish law, the processing of a child's personal data generally requires the consent of their legal guardian.
9. Security and breach notification
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited personal information we receive. In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the competent authority and, where required, affected individuals, in line with the timeframes set out in the GDPR (Articles 33–34) and KVKK (Article 12).
